We are seeking an experienced Digital Performance Manager to bring strategic and executional excellence to our suite of digital performance marketing channels. You will be the main strategist and executional manager across our demand conversion channels at Rapha, reporting into the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, with support from a Digital Marketing Media Executive amongst a broader team. This is a hands on role, and your knowledge and expertise will be vital towards Rapha’s success. The ideal candidate will need to be able to turn analysis into action both proactively and with pace.
About the role:
Managing the planning and buying of digital performance platform campaigns, including but not limited to Paid Search, Smart Shopping/PMax, Remarketing & SEO.
Day to day management of our performance media budget, whilst also inputting on internal business cases to help identify opportunity and pitch for additional investments to accelerate Rapha’s global growth
Growing strategic relationships with key performance partners - Google, Yahoo, Naver, etc. - to evolve our brilliant basics, and ensure we’re ahead of the curve with evolving industry trends
Owning our digital performance plan: with the support of the Digital Media Executive you will have ultimate accountability of the revenue and customer volumes delivered through our performance e-comm channels.
Leading on our campaign strategy, implementation, execution and reporting to ensure that our digital activity is driving both immediate and-long term growth for Rapha.
Drive our growth in additional markets, as our Global digital activity becomes more complex. Within this role you will be responsible for building a truly localised performance plan to ensure that all of our performance activity is fully localised and relevant for our markets worldwide
Work with our wider internal Rapha teams (e.g. social, content, activation, clubhouses, PR) and wider business functions (e.g. CRM, e-commerce, web) to ensure our media plan serves the needs of the wider business
Provide regular reporting that will be shared internally and externally, and leads to clear actionable insight for driving improvements
Live the Rapha brand values through our media planning and execution, ensuring all product, copy and assets that we communicate externally are up to the standards of the brand
About you:
5+ years of experience in media strategy, planning and buying.
Experience in delivering paid media strategy to drive an improvement across commercial metrics.
Proven track record in delivering creative and innovative media strategy, ideas and execution across different budget levels
Experience working with e-comm product feeds, feed management tools and external partners. Our product is the finest in the industry - you would need to drive our strategy ensuring this excellence translates into our product campaigns
Experience of working with large consumer brands with a direct to consumer digital focus, preferably across sports and/or lifestyle
Highly motivated clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Analytically minded, you will be taking large data-sets across our Global performance campaigns to identify red flags, opportunities and actions that will strengthen our strategy
- Experience in media/marketing industry across client, agency or media owner side with expertise covering:
Digital media led with a deep understanding of media buying
A strong understanding of media measurement and reporting methodologies
Report writing and presenting skills
Excited to work as part of a fast pace and agile team
A desire to be an advocate for Rapha’s purpose to inspire the world to live life by bike
